Why I Started Signature Mezuzah

I’m a woodworker based in Brooklyn, New York. My background is in high-end custom millwork, where the wood, hardware, finish, and proportions of a home are all considered together.

Working in carefully designed custom homes made me realize that the mezuzah was often one of the few details still selected afterward from a standard collection. I started Signature Mezuzah to offer a different approach: designing the mezuzah as part of the home from the beginning.

Every project starts with the doorway, the surrounding materials, and the client’s idea. From there, I develop the proportions, wood, finish, inlay, and details so the piece belongs naturally in that space.

Signature Mezuzah brings together my passion for woodworking, my experience in custom millwork, and the close attention to detail that custom work requires.

The goal is simple: not merely a beautiful mezuzah, but one that feels like it was always intended for that doorway.
